My Muse

Her classroom had no walls.  It was a studio, a workshop, a resource center which encompassed the universe.  Literature was not the written word, pressed properly into periods.  It was man, in infinite dimension, expressing his divinity through all time.  Miss Lutz pioneered the quest to the realm of truth and beauty. (From a post about my Great Aunt Caroline Stookey Lutz on my family blog:  Her Classroom Had No Walls )

I only met Auntie Caroline once, when I was quite young. In subsequent years, she has been a Muse in my life, coming back to me again and again. She has been an inspiration for my Literature Studies, and her presence continues in my current project, Old Stories, New Chapters.

The class is not yet dismissed, and the assignments are still not finished!
